Snowball Earth Anime Reveals New Promo Video, Ending Theme, and Additional Cast
The upcoming Snowball Earth TV anime has released a new promotional video, revealing more cast members and confirming the series’ ending theme song ahead of its premiere. The anime is scheduled to begin airing in Japan on April 3, 2026.
The newly released video gives fans a closer look at the anime’s characters and post-apocalyptic setting while introducing additional voice actors joining the project.
Ending Theme Song
The anime’s ending theme song is titled “Ima Kono Mune ni Tagiru no wa”, performed by singer-songwriter Ai Higuchi. The emotional track is expected to complement the series’ dramatic story and frozen world setting.

Several new voice actors have been revealed for the series, including:

Story Overview
The anime is based on the manga by Yuhiro Tsujitsugu, which began serialization in 2021. The story follows Tetsuo, who returns to Earth after years in cryogenic sleep only to discover that the planet has become a frozen wasteland. Humanity has seemingly vanished, leaving the world buried under ice and snow — turning Earth into what is known as “Snowball Earth.”
As Tetsuo searches for answers about what happened to the planet and its people, he also struggles to fulfill a promise he made to his fallen friend before the world changed forever.
