Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 has released a brand-new promotional video, giving fans a preview of the anime’s upcoming storyline as the fantasy action series continues its Spring 2026 run.

The latest trailer teases the next major arc of the story, featuring more intense battles, powerful enemies, and emotional moments centered around protagonist Will Serfort. The video also previews several scenes involving the upcoming “Terminaria” storyline, where chaos begins to spread as dangerous monsters break through the Great Barrier protecting the kingdom.

Season 2 continues adapting the manga created by Fujino Ōmori, the author also known for Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, alongside illustrator Toshi Aoi. The series first gained popularity for combining magic academy themes with fast-paced sword combat and fantasy adventure elements.

The anime once again follows Will Serfort, a student at Rigarden Magical Academy who is unable to use magic in a world where magical ability determines social status and power. Despite this weakness, Will continues fighting using his exceptional swordsmanship while chasing his promise to reunite with his childhood friend, the prodigy mage Elfaria.

The newly released promo video also highlights the anime’s opening and ending theme songs for Season 2. The opening theme, “BELIEVERS,” is performed by ASH DA HERO, while the ending theme, “Reachlight,” is performed by Shiyui.

Returning production staff members are also involved in the sequel season. Tatsuya Yoshihara, who directed the first season, now serves as chief director, while Hideaki Nakano takes over as director for Season 2. Animation production continues under Bandai Namco Pictures and Actas.
