We’re onto the last sister. TBS Animation on Wednesday finally released the character video trailer of Itsuki Nakano concluding the weekly teasers in preparation for the premiere of Quintessential Quintuplets’ 2nd season on January 2021.
Check out the character trailer below:
It looks like the anime is grooming Itsuki despite the manga already ending last February 2020. Manga fans have since then known who Uesugi’s bride to be, but there are speculations that the anime may have a different ending. Will there be a twist in the anime’s ending?
To give you a background of the character. Itsuki is the youngest of all sisters. She’s seen as cute, and at the same time, mysterious despite her pleasant personality. She’s one of the most diligent in the bunch, but tends to study on her own because of her grudge against Uesugi’s refusal to tutor her. With that in mind, she has a soft spot for his sister Raiha making her a bridge for both high school students to get closer.
Yotsuba Nakano’s trailer was released last week. Check her out here
The 1st season of the anime is currently available in Crunchyroll and FUNimation. On the other hand, KodanshaCOMICS is currently releasing the manga digitally as well as in print. The publisher describes the story as:
Five girls who want to do anything but study, and their tutor: a high school boy who’s got book smarts and not much else. Futaro Uesugi took the tutoring gig because he was desperate for cash, but when his students—the five beautiful daughters of a wealthy businessman—find five times the excuses to slack off, what can he do?! At this rate, the sisters won’t graduate, so if he wants to get paid, Futaro must think of a plan to suit each of them … Which feels hopeless when five out of five of them think he’s a loser!– KodanshaCOMICS
