JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean Anime Premieres in Netflix on December 1
Netflix revealed that it will premiere 12 episodes of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean via its Netflix Festival Japan 2021 livestream. The anime is set to debut on December 1st.
Official Twitter account of the anime also tweeted the fourth promotional video for the anime and revealed its premiere date in Japan TV Tokyo MX on January 7th.
Kenichi Suzuki is returning from Parts 1-3 as the chief director, and Toshiyuki Kato as director. Series composition is being written by Yasuko Kobayashi, while Masanori Shino is in character design. Yoshikazu Iwanami is working together with Yugo Kanno for the series music.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean anime is based on a manga by Hirohiko Araki in an on-going series with Part 9 JOJOLANDS, as tentatively titled, coming soon. The series was published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 1987 – 2004, and is currently being published in Ultra Jump since 2005.
Part 6 of the anime series centers around Jotaro Kujo’s daughter Jolyne Cujoh who’s been framed for murder and sent to prison. She then works together with other Stand-using prisoners and her father to hunt down prison chaplain Father Enrico Pucci, a loyalist to Dio, who seeks the creation of a new universe shaped to his will.
