Opening Video for Log Horizon Season 3 Has Been Released
In preparation for the anime’s January 2021 premiere, NHK released the opening video for the 3rd season of Log Horizon. Check out the opening video here.
Log Horizon revolves around players that have been trapped in a popular MMORPG called ‘Elder Tale’. Among these Japanese players, Shiroe is a socially awkward grad student who found himself trapped in the game. He is set on an adventure in the virtual world accompanied by his friend Naotsugu and a petite but fierce assassin Akatsuki. Destined to run a guild, Shiroe uses his intellectual prowess for politics and puzzle-solving skills to navigate the uncharted virtual reality!

Log Horizon was originally scheduled for a premiere last October 2020, but was slated due to health concerns. The anime is now preparing for its 3rd season premiere on January 13th of 2021.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2013. In 2014, the second season followed. This is definitely a long-awaited sequel as the 3rd season takes seven years before it’s finally going to be aired.
