Toei Animation Reveals Trailer for 2021 Butt Detective & Shinkai no Survival!
Butt Detective the Movie: The Secret of Sufure Island (Eiga Oshiri Tantei: Sufūre-to no Himitsu) and Survive! In the Deep Sea (Shinkai no Survival!) joins in one trailer revealed by Toei.
The films are part of the Toei Manga Matsuri omnibus, and the website also revealed a new poster and cast members for upcoming films. The trailer video features the song Always Survival (Itsudatte Survival!) performed by Yuiko Ohara.

Butt Detective the Movie: The Secret of Sufure Island is the latest film in the Oshiri Tantei (Butt Detective) franchise. The film’s story is set on an island with unimaginably steep cliffs. The inhabitants ride the wind and fly in the skies to get around.
Toei Animation is producing the film under Akifumi Zako’s direction. Script composition is being overseen by the series anime writer Natsuko Takahashi alongside Jun Narita.
On the other hand, Survive! In the Deep Sea film adapts the Shinkai no Survival! book from the Kagaku Manga Survival (Science Manga Survival) study manga series.
The Kagaku Manga Survival manga series follows children in various adventurous situations while weaving information about science into the story. The previous film, Survive! Inside the Human Body (Jintai no Survival), focused on the human body, while the new film is about the deep sea.
Toei Manga Matsuri omnibus is scheduled to open in Japan on August 13.
