My Hero Academia New Season 5 Promo Video Is Out!
Set for a March 27th premiere, My Hero Academia released its new promo video for its 5th season premiere. The video highlights an intense rivalry between UA’s hotshot section 1A and the runnerup section 1B. In addition, TOHO Animation finally reveals the new season’s opening theme No. 1 performed by DISH (Naruto Shippuden). Ending theme song entitled Ashiato will be performed by the peggies (Rent-a-Girlfriend), and will be revealed at a later date.
Season 5 of My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) will be covering the “Joint Training Arc” of the manga series. UA’s 1A class is going to train with 1B on a rivalry match-up. The anime is airing in Japan TV’s YTV and NTV on March 27.
Studio BONES is producing the fifth season under the chief direction of Kenji Nagasaki. Masahiro Mukai is returning as director the upcoming season. Series composition is being handled by Yousuke Kuroda, and character design is done by Yoshihiko Umakoshi and assistant Hitomi Odashima. Yuki Hayashi is composing the music.
A third anime film is scheduled to premiere this Summer 2021. Previously, the third film was teased on twitter highlighting the series’ Three Musketeers. More details here.
